Comments

  1. It actually has been concluded that the poor economy thus mentioning poverty has a lot to do with obesity. People tend to resort to cheap fast foods which as we know are unhealthy. So we should really promote that eating healthy does not need to be expensive.

  2. What’s up with her final comment on the obesity post? She sounds like a very bitter woman who has no appreciation of the complexity of the topic of obesity, hormonal conditions, eating disorders, etc. Why would she write such a thing especially if she’s looking to promote herself as a professional blogger?

  3. Abbi, bloggers often overstate their points to get a reaction (as I think you are aware!). I think it was important to rebut some of the assertions made in the comments (that being fat is not unhealthy, or that portion sizes aren’t an issue in obesity).

  4. She wasn’t looking for more reaction, that was her final comment before she closed comments. I wouldn’t read her blog again, she just came off as obnoxious.

  5. I really liked “why healthy eating doesn’t have to be expensive.” Thank you for including my post in this list!
