This is actually going to be my first Thanksgiving dinner with turkey since about 1994, so I’m pretty excited–all the Thanksgivings at my dad’s were not kosher so I tended to bring my own stuff…since getting married we usually brought cold poached salmon, a pasta or quinoa salad, and a cold green bean dish (plus a pie that I’d make and serve, with paranoia, to everyone). An ok dinner, but doesn’t scream Thanksgiving.
This year turkey and stuffing and gravy with the in-laws (MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL). And kids are skipping school Friday for a tiyul.
Kate, that’s pretty funny. I’m actually attending one too.
